Tower Productions Ltd. are seeking 2 experienced event technicians to be based at our warehouse in Edinburgh. These are full-time positions with a typical working week of 40 hours, Monday to Friday but due to the nature of our business and subsequent workload, the contract will be flexible and based on 5 days in 7 as weekend and evening work will be required.

Reportable to the Hire Manager, the role includes the following responsibilities:-

  • Picking and preparing equipment
  • Equipment maintenance
  • Loading and unloading of vehicles
  • Supervision of casual warehouse staff
  • Occasional working on site as required

Essential Criteria

  • Physically fit, an amount of heavy lifting will be required
  • Familiarity with lighting and power equipment as used in the events industry
  • Excellent numeracy and communication skills
  • A flexible approach to work showing initiative and decisiveness
  • Accuracy and attention to detail

Desirable Criteria

  • Previous experience of a warehouse environment
  • Full UK driver’s license
  • Counter-balance forklift driver experience
  • Qualified first aider

Salary is from £25,000 depending on experience.

This post has a probationary period of three months.

Tower Productions Ltd. are seeking an experienced storeman/driver. This is a full-time position based in Edinburgh. The typical working week is 40 hours, Monday to Friday but due to the nature of our business and subsequent workload, the contract will be flexible and based on 5 days in 7 as weekend and evening work will be required.

Reportable to the Hire Manager, the role includes the following responsibilities:-

  • Housekeeping, maintenance and inspections of the warehouse and yard
  • Scheduling maintenance and completing daily inspection of forklifts
    Scheduling repairs and carrying out routine maintenance and weekly inspections of company vehicles
  • Assisting with routine plant maintenance including weekly checks, cleaning and fuel management
  • Coordinating the safe loading and unloading of company vehicles and contract transport
  • Taking delivery of goods ensuring accurate and timely records
  • To arrange and coordinate courier and pallet firm despatches
  • Liaison and coordination of recycling, refuse and hazardous waste collections
  • Driving as required both locally and occasionally nationally

Essential Criteria

  • Full UK driver’s licence
